My name is Dr. David Siegel, and I have a unique solo private practice specializing in Addiction Medicine. I have been treating people with addiction issues for over 20 years and am board-certified in Addiction Medicine. I offer discreet and confidential one-on-one treatment via video for working professionals. I have flexible hours that include late evenings. SCIENCE-BASED SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT:
I provide addiction psychopharmacology (medications), outpatient detoxification, and addiction psychotherapy for drugs and alcohol. My patient base consists of working professionals whose substance use is impacting their lives and careers. Instead of going into an inpatient facility, detoxification is accomplished privately at home with scheduled videoconferences and phone follow ups. Patients are able to continue to work and remain highly functional during their treatment. Current addiction treatment can involve treating the biological part of the disease of addiction with maintenance medications. There are currently a number of different medications that can be used to treat addiction to alcohol, narcotic painkillers, and anti-anxiety medications such as Xanax and Klonopin.
I offer one-on-one addiction treatment that is respectful, motivational, and non-confrontational. This includes diagnosis and management of conditions which impact and overlap with addictions. The diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as pain, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and ADHD allows for additional treatment of underlying issues that can contribute to substance abuse.

SUBOXONE FOR ADDICTION TO NARCOTIC PAINKILLERS:
I have a Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone) practice as well. Suboxone is a medication taken by mouth for addiction to narcotic painkillers such as oxycodone, Percocet, Vicodin, and Lortab. Suboxone is also used to treat addiction to Heroin. Suboxone can be thought of as a much safer alternative to methadone. It is also more convenient in that a prescription is written by me, then filled at a pharmacy just like any other type of medication.
